I'm a horse girl that loves to make visual keepsakes of the special moments we have with horses. I've always had a love for horses and their therapeutic nature - that passion is what inspires me to create beautiful images. This business is a journey of sharing that love with others and documenting a variety of ways horses touch our lives.
About Me ♡
I attended my dream college, Virginia Intermont College in the beautiful mountains of Bristol, VA, for photography from 2011 until it unexpectedly closed and I transferred to Emory & Henry College to complete my degree. After receiving my Bachelor's in Photography & Digital Imaging in 2015, I moved to Richmond, VA to begin my career where I continue to live and manage a horse boarding facility, Myrtle Point Stables, in Mechanicsville. I also attended online Bootcamp in Full-Stack Web Development at the University of Richmond in 2020 to continue my education and gained new skills in building and designing websites.
In 2019 I began volunteering with Virginia Equine Welfare Society, a non-profit horse rescue in central Virginia. I eventually fell in love with one of their rescue horses (who wouldn't!), and I ended up adopting the sweetest and prettiest OTTB mare Spring of 2021 as my very own first horse! I have since connected and worked to photograph with other horse rescues like Central Virginia Horse Rescue and Heart of Phoenix Equine Rescue. I will always have a special place in my heart for rescue horses and enjoy volunteering and working with them.
As a lifelong horse lover I understand how special they are to us, and I hope to share my work as a keepsake of those cherished moments between people and their horses for many many years.
